Exploring Three Tenths of the World

About

The Plan

It’s the clichéd plan of quitting the rat race and seeing the world. Well, almost. We have no real plan, just a bunch of ideas of things we’d like to do and how we’d like to do them. ‘Follow your dreams’ they say. As long as it’s not the one about the spiders.

Brrr

Doc Brown pronounced that if you’re going to travel through time then you should do it in style, and promptly converted a DeLorean into a time machine. None of our ideas involve time travel, so we figured an old Toyota would do. Godzuki! provides us with transport and accommodation for some of our adventures.

Despite all the pictures this isn’t supposed to be about the van. There will be adventures with the van, there will be adventures without the van. There’ll probably be other vehicles. Just don’t tell Godzuki!, ok?

What’s in a name?

Why the blog name 3tenths? Approximately 30 percent of this beautiful planet we call home is landmass and Rosana really doesn’t like boats, so it’ll be a mostly land based journey for us. Not sure she’s heard of the the Drake Passage. It’ll be fine.
